I talked to Ted, he said he would hold a nc sc championship for atv mx, it would be a three race series, classes would be A, B, C, 90cc, and 50cc, he would need at least 50 total entries to hold this event, there would be 1 nice trophy at the end of the series for the top 5 that says nc sc campion for classes and place,  the only thing that is ask is the three race series is pre paid at $25 a race for a total of $75 for three races the reason for this is because to many atvers say they will show up and never do so it would not be worth Teds time if only 9 or 10 show up but if its all pre paid it would not matter he could still buy the trophys and still hire the help to work the races. There would be one race per month for three months. If your interested please let us know or call Ted at Robbins Ridge 704-826-6228 or call Austin at 980-521-8593 make post about this and say what you think. If were going to do this then we need to  go ahead and get entries and get dates set, we would like to start it in August.

ok well i dont understand people. "atv riders" we get a chance to race only atv's with no dirt bikes and see whos the best out the the 2 state area. and nobody wants to do it. yall would rather go race at a dirt bike race where nobody there even likes atv's in the first place. And theres olny 10-20 quads show up at the most.
Here we can have only atvs where every one likes atvs, and the tracks preped for atv's. but i guesse yall would rather go wheres theres only 1 or 2 people in your class so your preety much garunteed a trophy and get to go home tell everyone that " I Got First Place Yepe" but i bet you leave out the part that you was was the only one in your class.

heres a chance to have a yearly thing with only atvs but no one wants to come. also you would have a trophy that says your the champion of nc. and sc.

A JMX race has 350-450 dirtbike entrees and thats why there sport continues to grow. and all the slackers that ride quads never have a good turn out because no one ever races.so dont complain when theres no one at a race because nobody apparantly wants to ride.

i think the reason there is more dirt bikes that race is because its easier. a bike will soak up more crap than a quad will.

it takes a special breed to do on a quad what people do on a bike.

try other sites or local atv shops to get some riders.  there prolly isnt 50 people here that race mx.

ummm, i hate to be the a$$hole here.....but ATV only events....umm, it's called the nationals......unless of course you run TT in the southern ATVA series.....what you need to do is come up with a series like the Southern ATVA did with TT, except with MX.  I think it would be great, but honestly....in my opinion, 3 races just ain't enough to call it a series.  I know that TT is different from MX and that's why they have an ATV only event......but with the right organization, it could be done with MX too.  Look at how many tracks are available on the weekends.  Hit those tracks up on the weekends for ATV only events...I'll bet they will go for it b/c they'll be making more money from that than they will for the couple hundred they may get from people showing up to practice.  Just my 10 cents though.

well i disagree it could be a mini series the tt nalt only have seven races if ted could it a good turn out the other tracks might come in next time if u have ever been to a m/x atv race in NC or SC most of the time u just get any where from 8 to 25 m/x riders most which are c riders the most i seen was 43 atv aT NCMP that includes 5 mini atvs that raced. u see most tracks don,t want atvs there any way they say they mess the track up 4 the drit bike but they want turn away the monie. and some track want let atvs practice on them 4 that reason it would just be nice to get only atvs there 4 a m/x race...    and hey we do run the atv m/x nalt...

I wouldnt say your being an asshole, just an idiot...

Michigan tried this for this season, and so far they have had a great turnout from what i hear. All the classes have been loaded. The only differences are, that it was an ATV/ Vintage bike series, and consisted of 7 tracks, with 1 throw out race...Its basicaly like ITP Quadcross....except that is much bigger. Any series can grow to that size, support it next year for you guys in NC...and hopefully it will grow.

I would be interested in racing that series. I'll let others know about it also. It would be nice to get a all atv mx series going around here. I know that some of the track owners would be interested if the turnouts were good.
